Canal Place - Cumberland, MDLocated in Cumberland, MD, Canal Place is located in a 60-acre park that is owned by the State of Maryland.

 

The park includes many visitor-friendly attractions, including The Shops at Canal Place, The Cumberland Visitor Center for the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park, and the Western Maryland Railway Station.

 

Canal Place became Maryland’s first Certified Heritage Area in 1993.
